Questions

Is CloudLife³ free?

Yes. Creating an account and playing are free. CloudBits - the CloudOS currency - are used for extras such as realms, market items and land.

What can I play it on?

Just about anything with a screen - one account works on all of them, and your hotbar and settings follow you:

  • In a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Brave): Windows PCs, Macs, Linux computers, Chromebooks, iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, and smart TVs or consoles with a modern browser.
  • With Java (the CloudLife Launcher, cl3.jar, Java 17 or newer): Windows PCs (the installer includes Java), Macs, Linux computers, Chromebooks with Linux turned on, and Raspberry Pi and other single-board computers running a desktop.
  • As an Android app (APK): Android phones and tablets, Android TV and Google TV boxes, Amazon Fire tablets and Fire TV, Chromebooks that run Android apps, and Windows PCs with an Android app runner.
How does owning land work?

The world is split into chunks. You can buy a chunk on the Cloud Market, then choose who may build or break blocks there and whether flying is allowed. You can sell it to another player later.

Can I play with friends?

Yes - play together in the main world, or create a realm with its own members and rules. Cloud Chat and Cloud Phone are built in for planning.
